There are two kinds of Senator. The Primary Senator is the Senator from the capital, who has more power than a normal Senator. The Primary Senator has one vote, as usual, but also has an extra vote in the case of a tie, and takes over the duties of the Supreme Consul of the Republic of Hurliherzistan should they die or be removed. Together, the Senators make up the Senate, the legislative branch of the Hurliherzistani government. They vote on legislation proposed by the citizens of Hurliherzistan.
