The Hurliherzistani government is defined and created in the Constitution. It is split into three branches, the executive, legislative, and judicial. The Supreme Consul, the leader of Hurliherzistan and the executive branch, has its power delegated to different departments. Elections happen on October 25 every year. Whoever gets first place becomes the Supreme Consul. Each Province elects a Senator to represent them in the Senate. The Senate makes laws for the country. The Supreme Consul appoints a Grand Magistrate and Consuls of departments. The Grand Magistrate must be approved by the Senate by a super majority, but the Consuls don't have to be. However, a precent was set by the first Supreme Consul, Jack Herz, to get the Senate's approval of all Consuls, and all Supreme Consuls to date have continued with that tradition.
