After writing the Constitution of Hurliherzistan, Jack Herz, as well as the three other residents signed the Constitution, and thus declaring independence from the United States of America. They also named Peter Herz as the acting President and Sandy Herz as the acting President of the Senate. They then nominated and confirmed Jack Herz as the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court and Andrea Herz as the Attorney General. A few days later, the new government of Hurliherzistan sent a Declaration of Independence to the United States of America, requesting to be allies. The Constitution of Hurliherzistan had also been made to be very similar to the United States's, in order to gain their friendship. After waiting for many months for a reply, and getting none, a Hurliherzistani government was elected to replace the acting government. However, all the positions in the government were filled by the same people as were in the acting government. Eventually, more and more amendments were passed to make the Constitution more inline with the beliefs of the people of Hurliherzistan, instead of one that is similar to the United States.
